The City of Grand Rapids is developing a Fair Housing Equity Plan (FHEP) to identify barriers to fair housing choice and action steps to address them. The FHEP will analyze the following:

- Patterns of segregation and integration by protected class group and how it has changed over time
- Resident access to community assets, affordable housing, and homeownership opportunities, and any disparities that may exist
- Issues related to housing accessibility among residents with disabilities
- Housing discrimination by protected class group
