About the Board

We make recommendations to the City on most things related to public safety. There are some public safety issues that the Fiscal Committee controls, though. In some cases, the Fiscal Committee will ask for advice on public safety issues they control.

  • 1 commissioner member from each ward

Residency Requirement

Only residents can serve on this board.

No Term Limits

Each member's term lasts one year.

Compensation

This is a volunteer board. Members aren't compensated.
