Standard Applications

The City Clerk's Office takes passport applications by appointment only, Monday through Friday, starting at 8 am with a last appointment time of 3 pm. You'll find application instructions further down this page. Routine service is currently taking 4 to 6 weeks. Expedited service is currently taking 2 to 3 weeks for an extra fee.

Short Notice Applications

Is your trip is less than 14 days away? Do you need to apply for a visa? You need an appointment at a National Passport Center. Call 1-877-487-2778 to schedule an expedited application appointment.

Travel Visas

Some countries require you to apply for a visa in addition to presenting your passport. To find out if you need a visa, visit the US Department of State Website.
