Rosa Parks Circle ice rink is one of Grand Rapids' treasured winter destinations. The ice rink will open for skating on December 5, weather permitting.

Admission 

  • Adults (18 and over) $6.00
  • Youth (17 and under) $3.00
  • 10-hole punch card: $22 (youth admission = 1 punch, adult admission = 2 punches) 

We accept cash and card. Admission includes free skate rental.

50 reserved spots are available for each skating session (limit 6 skaters per reservation) Your reservation allows priority access before walk-up traffic during your reservation arrival window.

  • 10:00-11:30 a.m.
  • 12:00 - 1:30 p.m.
  • 2:00 - 3:30 p.m.
  • 4:00 - 5:30 p.m.
  • 6:00 - 7:30 p.m.
  • 8:00 - 9:30 p.m.

Skating reservations close 48 hours in advance. Additional dates will become available up to two weeks in advance.

Skates

  • Free with admission
  • Sizes range from toddler 8 through men's 15; all skates are hockey skates
  • Ice balance aids are available
  • Skates are available first come, first served
  • You may bring your own skates; there is no admission discount for bringing your own
  • Skate sharpening available for $6

Rules

  • Skate at your own risk. All skaters are responsible for their own safety.
  • Admission is required for all skaters prior to entering the ice.
  • Skating outside of designated session times is prohibited.
  • Alcohol, smoking, and drug use are prohibited.
  • Food and drink are not permitted while on the ice.
  • Pets are not permitted on the ice, with the exception of service animals.
  • All rink users must wear skates, with the exception of wheelchair users.
  • Wheelchairs are welcome on the ice.
  • Strollers are not permitted on the ice. 

Restrooms

  • There are public restrooms on site at the rink.

Accessibility

  • The rink is wheelchair accessible. Wheelchairs are allowed on the ice; strollers are not allowed on the ice.

Holidays

  • The rink is closed on December 25 in observance of Christmas Day
  • The rink is open on Christmas Eve, New Years Eve, New Years Day, MLK Day and Valentine's Day
