Parks Signage Design Competition

The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board will choose a group of finalists to move forward in the selection process.

November 9 - November 30

The public will be able to vote for the winning design on Facebook and in person at the Parks and Recreation Department (address below).

Implementation

The winner will collaborate with a licensed design professional to produce final drawings. The City of Grand Rapids will own the winning design, including the right to modify as necessary and to use for other locations as appropriate.

Eligibility

Our design search is open to all applicants.

Award

The winning submission will be used at all 75 parks throughout Grand Rapids, therefore designs must be adaptable.

The winner will be awarded up to $1000 to participate on a City-contracted design team. The team will create a standard package of signage for all 75 parks.

• Design must include the City of Grand Rapids Logo and the text "City of Grand Rapids". Download the logo using the links below.

• Submissions must be in .pdf or .jpeg format
