File a Freedom of Information Act Request

Looking to request copies of City records? The Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) allows you to request copies or access to most City records.

There are also multiple online records available without filing a FOIA request.

Fees are charged for labor and other actual costs pursuant to MCL 15.234 and City Policy 91-02. A fee deposit may be required for requests likely to exceed $50.00.

Looking to request copies of public police records from the GRPD Records Unit? Complete the FOIA request form on this page.
