Step 1.Make sure your event is eligible

Check out our Park Facility Reservation Guide. We've outlined the process and standards for hosting an event at park facilities. You may find that the scope of your event is beyond facility reservation and may need additional planning through the Special Event Permit process. Have questions? Give us a call at the number listed in the Contact Us section.

Step 2.Plan your event

Here are some things to keep in mind as you decide which facility is best for you:

  • Your preferred event date and time
  • Expected attendance. Make sure your chosen facility is big enough for your event
  • Whether or not you'll serve beer and/or wine. You'll have the option to add a beer/wine permit to your reservation. Permits are $35

Step 3.Reserve facilities online

If you don't already have a Grand Rapids Parks and Recreation account, you'll need to create one to request your reservation. Our online listings have photos, locations, seating capacity, and pricing information.
